| Amy's Birthday Float July 21 - 23, 2016 | |
| My good friend and sister-in-law Amy had a
landmark birthday this summer.  Her ever-thoughtful husband Jeb
decided to plan a surprise camping/float trip for her to celebrate.
They were kind enough to include me on this trip and I had a great time
with them and their friends. | |

| Looking out at the Flathead river from near the camp site | This is for my Okie friends, we aren't used to water this clear! |
| | |
| Our home for the weekend | Madison, Storm, Aubrey, Amy, Jeb in the foreground.  I had already
trekked the steep slope down to the water, and once was enough for me! |
| | |
| Friday morning moonset | Jeb knows how to cook up a beautiful camp breakfast! |
| | |
| Jeb, always willing to be Amy's gift | Now we are on our float. My waterproof camera was not the greatest, but at least it worked. |
| | |
| We came around a bend to find everyone else calmly fishing all while
wearing birthday hats. Then they gave the birthday girl a hat of her own. Madison was grabbing a nap. | Storm, teaching Madison how to fly fish |
| | |
| Storm & Madison | Osprey nest and a pretty rock bluff. It was really neat in person. |
| | |
| Stopping for some fishing, snacks, and bluff jumping. The water was COLD! | Jeb doing a little fishing |
| | |
| Showing off a huge fish, so big it broke the pole | These two dogs were so cute. That little white one ruled that ice chest. |
| | |
| Storm making the first bluff jump | Colter giving us a dance before he made his jump |
| | |
| | |
| Friday night Jeb treated everyone to steaks and we had a huge birthday dinner | It included Morel mushrooms, corn, salads, and the works |
| Amy with her peeps | |
| A huge survival knife Amy got for a birthday gift | |
| | |
| Beautiful sunset | Evening walk to visit the pack mules and cross the suspension bridge |
| | |
| On my drive out on Saturday I made a lot of stops for photos. This is Upper Twin Creek. | |
| | A view of the Hungry Horse Reservoir |
| | |
| | |
| I think this was Riverside Creek | |
