Quilts I Made in 2025
Count: 34

 Back to Home Page

I guess I slacked off this year, 34 quilts is much lower than my 40+ I'd been making in 2023 & 2024.  Maybe I'm slowing down to savor each quilt a little more.

Casazza Creations is my Etsy shop name.

197. Hearts & Arrows

Sold via Etsy to a customer in Elk Point, SD.

Two years ago, when I found the arrow idea on "Made by Marzipan", it gave me an idea for this
quilt.  It took a few years for me to get around to making it.
I used a pink polka dot backing.

 Detail of the arrows.

This was metallic red with double batting inside the hearts.  I struggled to get the
heart quilting to look nice because of the double batting, but it makes them very 3D,
which looks neat.

198. Alaska Diamonds

Sold via Etsy to a lady in Warsaw, IN.

This was a HUGE project.  One of my sewing groups was having a "Block of
the Month" project where you make a quilt slowly over the course of a year.
This was a challenging design with lots of angles that had to meet up just so.

Mine turned out pretty big - Queen sized.   I did freehand curl quilting on the edges and detailed designs in the piecing.

199. Baby Lonestar

Still in my Etsy shop.

I had only ever tried one Lonestar quilt, also a baby quilt.
However, it was paper-pieced.  I wanted to try my hand
at a more traditionally pieced Lonestar,  and thankfully
I chose a baby quilt size.

It was just as difficult as the paper-pieced version!
It's adorable, but not something I want to do again.

200.  Strawberries & Ladybugs

Sold via Etsy to a lady in Salem, MO.

This quilt was SO fun!  We were given the pattern for the strawberry blocks
by the Flathead Quilt guild.  After I made some to contribute to a donation quilt,
I then took my scraps and made these 5 strawberry blocks for myself.

I next found a cute pattern for lady bugs and this quilt was born.  Adorable!

201. Woodland Babies (Version 2)

Still available in my Etsy shop.

I made a similar version of this quilt many years ago for my nephew Noah.  I thought it turned
out so cute that when I ran across more of this fabric in my stash, I wanted to make it again.

202. Christmas Snowmen Wall Hanging or Baby Quilt

Sold via Etsy to a customer in Carson City, NV.

I found this cute panel and made some simple borders for it
and it created an adorable little quilt.

I swear I made two of these identical to each other, but I
only have records of one of them so maybe I dreamed that
second one.

203.  Buttercream Birthday #1

Sold via Etsy to a lady in Salem, MO.  The same lady who bought Strawberries & Ladybugs.

My friend Melody heard me say that I loved Fairy Frost fabric and offered to sell
me her stash of it.  She had quite a collection!
Fairy Frost is a fabric line that has a soft metallic sheen to it.  On the fabric maker's website, they
offered this free pattern that is perfect for that shiny fabric.

That cake was SO pretty, it made me crave cake just looking at it!   I used a pale blue backing and did fancy quilting on the gift & cake parts.

All the small gifts had diagonal zig-zag lines, and the large gifts had vertical lines.    You can see the sheen of the fabric in this photo.  I loved this quilt!

204. Moonlight Flight

Still available in my Etsy shop.

I am so proud of this quilt.  It was a buger to make and design, if anyone else knew how hard
I worked on it, they'd snap it up but it has been for sale for a year now with no takers.

The top and bottom sections were a table runner pattern.  Then I pulled the edges of that pattern
out and made those parts two more times to make the edges.  Then I had to force the panel in
the center to fit that hole.  Normally quilts are designed from the center outward - there's a very
good reason for that!

I also did a ton of detailed quilting on the panel which makes it look three dimensional.  It's
super pretty.  Truly some of my best work.

Trying to show the detailed quilting from the front.  And from the back.

The pretty design I added to the top and bottom designs.

It's a navy blue backing, the color is off in those other photos.

This quilt won two ribbons at the Rendezvous Days 2025 show.  That purple
one is "People's Choice" which means the visitor's favorite quilt in the show.
That one meant SO much to me.  I'm very honored it was chosen for that.

These are the 4 ribbons I won at the 2025 Rendezvous Days show.
I've hardly won any ribbons in the past, so it was really exciting to
see my work appreciated like that.

205.  Baby Owls

Still on offer in my Etsy shop.

I had this cute owl fabric and some other cute "ribbon" looking fabric so I put them together to
make a fun little baby quilt.

Fleece backing gives it a snuggly feel.

206. Stained Glass Spring

Sold via Etsy to a lady in Newfane, NY.  I listed it as "robins" but she messaged
me and said, "Aren't those bluebirds?"  When I confirmed that I'd been nutty,
she bought this lovely bluebird quilt.

This one got first in the Medium Quilt category at the 2025 Rendezvous Days show.   Trying to show the detail of the quilting, but I used black thread in the black 'lead' lines, so it doesn't show.

This was a very pretty kit!  The quilting did show up very clearly on the red backing though.

Each corner had a fussy-cut scene like this.

207. Magnolia Mosaic

Sold at EMQS 2025.

This was another beautiful kit I purchased, this one came off of Etsy.  I made it exactly as the
pattern directed (usually I go my own way a bit!)  It was gorgeous fabric!!

I did detailed quilting on the flowers and spirals in the background.

208.  Baby Running Horses

Sold at EMQS 2025.

Using up some of the scraps from the 9 or 10 "Run With Me" quilts I made.

209. April Showers

Sold at the Senior Center.

I saw this pattern online, bought it, and had the quilt made
in a matter of days.  I thought it was such a cute pattern.

210. Scrappy Stacks

Sold via Etsy to a lady in Vernon Hills, IL.  She also commissioned me to make two matching shams.

I made a baby quilt sized version of this quilt years ago.

Recently I started saving scraps to make a larger one.
I just eventually had to stop, I had enough scraps saved
to make two quilts this size!

I quilted it in a bright blue thread which looked so pretty. I used a freehand flower & curl design.

211. Sunset Squared

This one is still on offer in my Etsy shop.

This is another quilt that I saw online and immediately
made my own version.  It was a lot of fun to make.  I tried
to choose colors of the sunset.

I quilted it with spirals to offset all the squares in the quilt.

212. Breakfast at Tiffany's

Sold to MIL Rose, for a gift for one of her sisters.

I saw a YouTube video by Karen Brown of "Just Get It Done Quilts"
and immediately had to make one of these jelly roll quilts.

The name of the fabric line was "Breakfast at Tiffany's".  It turned out
very pretty.

 213. Eagle Pass

Sold at EMQS 2025.

This is the pattern "Center Stage" which came with that
Magnolia Mosaic quilt kit I made earlier this year.

I think it looks lovely in this completely different type of fabric.

214. Snow Crew

Sold at EMQS 2025.

This was a kit that I bought from one of the vendors at EMQS.
Isn't that fabric adorable?!

You just want to pinch their little cheeks.

215. Glacier National Park (Version 1)

Sold at EMQS 2025.

I was at Glacier Quilts one day when I saw this panel.
The lady in the store was very helpful as I tried to find
coordinating fabrics to match it.  She really helped me
a lot.

The pattern I used to surround the panel was called,
"Rock Hop" by Bear Hug Quiltworks.

I did a lot of quilting in the panel, but I could have done better.

216. Buttercream Birthday #2

Sold to MIL Rose, as a birthday gift for one of her sisters.

Because the first one was so fun, I just had to make another one!

I didn't take as much time on the quilting this time, I was in a hurry.  :-(

217. Cherokee Fire

Sold to my mother-in-law and best customer Rose for her own personal use.
A first!  She usually gives them as gifts.

This is another quilt that I'm very proud of.  I designed the pattern based on a
Cherokee beadwork design that I found in a very old book.

I sent it to the Cherokee National Holiday quilt show in Tahlequah, OK.
It didn't win any ribbons (other than coming from furthest away), but I got
a lot of nice compliments on it.

218. Stained Glass Nativity

Kept for personal use, at Eric's insistence.

Eric has never been captivated by any of my quilts like he was by this one.
He insisted that it needed to be part of our Christmas decor going forward.
I was very honored and happy to oblige.  It was a kit I purchased in
Browning, MT while we were taking our cat a specialist  vet in Great Falls.

I don't know why I didn't take more pictures of it, but this was all I have.

219. Scarecrow Throw

Still available in my Etsy shop.

This was a fun panel that I whipped up and did a lot of detailed quilting the panel part.

220.  Baby Pinwheels

Available in my Etsy shop.

Making use of some pretty fabric I had laying around.

221. Crimson Christmas

Available in my Etsy shop.

At our October meeting for the Flathead Quilt Guild, famous pattern & ruler designer Krista Moser
came for a trunk show.  She was SO inspirational and funny and entertaining, I really loved her talk.

I purchased one of her kits and made this beautiful quilt, "Crimson Christmas".  It was a challenge,
but also worth it.  It's super beautiful in person, she did a great job choosing the fabrics.

FQG Alaska

Available in my Etsy shop.

This was a finished quilt top for sale at the Flathead Quilt Show boutique.
I bought it thinking I'd give a neglected top new life.  I had made an Alaska
quilt (this pattern) earlier in similar colors, so I knew how much work had
gone into it to get it this far.  I wanted this quilt to live on!

If only I'd have looked at it a bit more closely.  The lady who put this one
together got one row (3rd from the bottom) turned upside down, which
totally ruins the quilt for me.  Other people still think it's pretty, but I
cannot enjoy it anymore.

That's unfortunate too because I spent many, many hours doing detailed
custom quilting on it.  Hopefully someone will love it someday.

222. Teal Hearts Winter Friends

Available in my Etsy shop.

I was thrilled with how my little border added to this adorable quilt panel.

223. Mille - Hummingbird Panel Baby Quilt

Available in my Etsy shop.

My husband had just spent 6 week nursing an injured hummingbird, Millie, who sadly did not survive.
Then I saw this super cute panel and knew it needed to be made into a baby quilt.

I did tight quilting in the background and light detail quilting on Millie.

This shows the wild but coordinating fabric on the back.   I think she's adorable!

224. Crimson Christmas Baby

Sold at the Senior Center.

I made one more of the blocks from the Crimson Christmas throw quilt for this cute baby quilt.  Snuggle fleece backing too!

225. Glacier National Park #2

Available in my Etsy shop.

I enjoyed that first Glacier National Park quilt I made and had a LOT of fabric leftover, so I
purchased another panel and did it all again.  This time I did a better job on the quilting
AND I used a blanket for the backing.  This thing is so snuggly and soft, it's amazing!

For one bright, shining moment, I learned how to remove the background from a
photo on my phone.  But I can no longer figure out how to do it again.

226. Pumpkins and Spice Lap Quilt

Available in my Etsy shop.

A cute panel that I worked up for a fun fall lap quilt.  Trying to show the quilting and the tan backing.

Detail of some of the cute scenes.

227. Give Thanks Wall Hanging

Available in my Etsy shop.

Super cute panel, simple to make.    I did a lot of detail quilting on the panel.

A close-up of their adorable faces.  Those serious looks crack me up.

Eric decided we needed to keep this one too.  I did display it
during November, but then I put it in my Etsy shop.  The first
time he wanted to keep something I made, it was cute, but
when it happened again so soon I was afraid we might start to
become quilt hoarders!

FQG Shimmer

Available in my Etsy shop.

This was another quilt I bought as an unfinished top at the Flathead Quilt Guild boutique.
Thankfully, I didn't find any piecing flaws in this one.  I quilted it with a pantograph and
hope it will serve someone well.  The pattern is called Shimmer, there's no shine in the fabric.

228. Winter Horse Panel

Available in my Etsy shop.

Here I am showing it at our Scraps N Threads guild meeting.

Those four "God's Eye" blocks on the corners took me an entire day
to make, but man, aren't they pretty?  Those blocks and that border
design turned a simple panel into a very pretty quilt.

Thank you eQuilter for the free pattern!!  It was called, "Amazing Grace."
